Our trust, a non-profitable organization was formed and incorporated in Chennai, India on 13 th December 2008 with registration number 2362.
The Income tax Department issued a determination letter that recognized the organization as exempted from
income tax under section U/S 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The approval as DIT(E) No:2(1050) 08-09.
Our trust is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and Meditation purposes. The primary objective of our trust is to establish Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir in the metropolitan Chennai and facilitate worship services similar to Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir in Shirdi, India. Other objectives of the organization include charitable activities such as medical aid to the indigent, relief to people affected by natural calamities, organize shelters to the homeless, feeding of the destitute (annadaana); translate, print, publish or distribute books, periodicals and literatures to promote the goals and objectives of the organization; to promote Baba's philosophy, sponsor or support religious, spiritual, cultural, educational or charitable activities or organizations in india or abroad.
We has been organizing worship services since its inception. A special worship service on every Thursday morning include Abhishekam and more activities.Bhajans, and Shej Arati followed by Mahaprasad will happen every third sunday of every month. In addition, all major religious functions such as Ram Navmi, Guru Purnima, Gokul Ashtami, Maha Shivaratri, Baba's Maha Samadhi Day and Datta Jayanti are celebrated with utmost devotion. As the demand for these services increased with enthusiastic participation of ever increasing number of devotees, the organization is planning to move to a bigger place. With the Grace of Baba, we are successfully taking all the steps to fullfill our trust objectives.
We have been tirelessly engaged to find a place of our own to establish Sai Mandir. With the Grace of Baba, we were able to purchase approximately 1.5acres of land near chennai.
About Baba
Shirdi is a small village, 13 Kms. to the south of Kopargaon in Ahmednagar District of Maharastra State,India. Sri Sai Baba first came to Shirdi in about 1852 A.D. and stayed there for two years. He appeared again in Shirdi after 2-3 years along with a marriage party from Dhupkhede, when he was hardly a lad of 16 years in a dress of Kafni, dhoti and a to He was first greeted in Sri Khandoba's temple as " Aao, Sai, Aao" by Sri Mahalasapati, A goldsmith and manager of the temple and the name of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was adopted to the young saint since then.

With the blessings of Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi and under the guidance of Shri Subramanyam Aachari garu the "SHRI SHIRDI SAI CHARITABLE AND MEDITATION RESEARCH TRUST" was created to spread Sai Philosophy and His teachings among the devotees who are living all over the world and for charitable activities with the purpose of giving something back to the society above all relegions.
Some of Our Aims and Objectives
- To preserve and spread Shri Shirdi Sai’s Philosophy.
- To provide Sai devotees world over, a platform to meet and exchange their experiences and beliefs.
- To spread the immense power of meditation and doing in depth on different levels of meditation.
- To Construct a meditation centre,universal prayer hall and temple for Shi Shirdi Sai Baba(Swarna Abhaya kshethram).
- To create a network among various Shirdi Sai institutions around the world and to bring them on to a common platform to render better service to humanity at large.
- To research, document, record and disseminate literature and other such material about Shirdi Sai Baba in India and abroad.
- To produce and sell a magazine, books, music cassettes, and other such creative material related to Shirdi Sai Baba, the proceeds of which will be routed to charity.
- To run and maintain libraries and reading rooms.
- To institute and award scholarships and provide regular financial assistance to the poor and needy students especially girls.
- To organize regular medical check-up camps for the benefit of the poor people of the society with the help of qualified medical specialists.
